2005 National Heads-Up Poker Championship

What was arguably the poker event of the year, Phil Hellmuth plowed through one of the most difficult fields in poker history. After Hellmuth easily took the first match against Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, viewers were treated to a classic  Hellmuth blowup. However Phil managed to climb back on to his chair and win the NHPC title that year after defeating Ferguson in the last and final match of the best-of-three final game.
