If you’ve navigated your way over to this corner of the Internet, it’s a good bet that like me, you love poker.

You love the two-outers, the big bluffs, the check-raises and the all-ins. You love watching hundreds of thousands of dollars change hands. You fantasise about what it would be like to sit with Phil Ivey or durrrr and push them off of pots.

If you’re on this site, you’re off to a good start. Because loving the game — especially when it beats you over the head for months — is the key to getting better.

Like a lot of the children of the poker boom, I started off playing freerolls, grinding for tournament dollars or satellite entries. The great thing about poker, is there’s always a next step, a higher level to grind up to.

I wanted to do this to get better, and hopefully have some genuine debates about poker strategy, news and maybe even help a few others along the way.
