About ranking tournaments
The tournament ranking is based on the results in theese specific tournaments. When all ranking tournaments have been played, the top 10 in total ranking goes to the final together with the top 3 of each tournament. All ranking tournaments of course still pay out money just like any usual tournament.
The formula to calculate the ranking is:
10 * √ B + 1 * (N – 6) / P
10 = Start points
B = Buy-in
N = Number of entrants
P = Position

about the ranking formula , because of the huge ammount of players in the freeroll , they will be extremly advantaged by their first score in the free tournament , because probably the buy-in tournaments will have less players , so probably most of the ones that will qualify in top 10 will be from the freeroll without playing a single buy-in , that is teribly discouraging for someone that might of wanted to play in the buy-ins
if you don’t mind I would sugest a small modification of the formula :
10 * √ (2*B) + 1 * (N – 6) / P
so the freeroll points stay the same , the buy-in points double , making them almost as big as the freeroll ones, and so the freeroll players will need to play in the buy-ins too , to qualify, exept of the first 3 of course who are allready qualified
Hi adryan, cheers for the feedback.
To a degree I do agree with you to, but, we cant go on changing the rules of the tournament when it has already started. I will make a note of your comment and bring it up for discussion if we end up doing something similar in the future.
On the other hand, the less players – the bigger chance to end up in the top3 and qualify that way. Lets all hope there will be as many players as possible in the coming events.
So if I won SECOND QUALIFYING RUN I do not have to play the last two tournaments???
as the rules say top 3 in each tournament are automaticly qualified , I see no reason for you making any more points, let someone like me get in top 10 too
, if you still want to play for fun see you on monday
Maybe Make a list of players who are already in the final
